ANOTHER MOVING SALE.
..............from my personal collection, brand new....just as it came from the factory.....NEVER used, carried or sharpened. A nice one and somewhat RARE.
Case XX Encyclopedia Volume 4 Stag Gunboat Canoe knife- Little Valley Knife Association (LVKA), #347 out of 350:
* One of 350 made.........numbered 347.
* Part of a set......from the historical Case Family Brands Encyclopedia sets.
* Volume 4 was dedicated to the Little Valley Knife Association (LVKA).
* Extremely handsome stag on this one is ; I waited a long time to find one with nice color and figure.
* PERFECT fit and finish....and GREAT snap.
This Case LVKA Gunboat is very, very well put together with GREAT snap, fancy engraved bolsters, long pulls, an eye-catching swedge grind on the main spear blade, handsome genuine burnt stag handles, incredibly well ground blades, and impressive fit and finish. This is a VERY, VERY well-crafted knife. Case really kicked things up a notch when they made these.
2) rear side of sheepfoot blade is pattern stamped with USA 5394 SS.
3) spey blade is stamped with "SS".
This Knife is brand new......and part of a set, and therefore does not come with a box. Only 350 sets were produced so this Gunboat is somewhat rare.The only way to get a part of this collection is to find someone breaking up a set. I have only seen a few select knives sold from the volume 4 book.
