I've noticed that when ever I think of getting a SOG knife, I also consider getting it's mate if it has one (ie Government/DD, Pentagon/mini pentagon). It makes desiding which to get next rather hard. Anyone else had simaller findings?
 
I agree. I was looking for one plain bladed magnadot and ended up with four. Three of which are now going to friends in the military.

I have a pair of SOG Tridents, and the SOG Seal "trio"; Seal Pup, Seal 2000, and the Tigershark.

Sounds like you're short another Tigershark...:D ;) :cool:
I'll have to post a pic of my "New" Tigershark, the PE, satin finish, SK5 version :cool: :D :eek:

My small collection includes a Mini Pentagon, Government and a Desert Dagger. I almost ordered a Field Pup the other day (payed car insurence instead) and thought, "Hm, I should get the Field knife to go with it. While I'm at it, I should get the X42-Recondo." Does it ever end?:eek::D
 
Windmanh: you're not that bad. There are people here who buy two at a time so that they would use one and keep one - of the same knife!

You "need" the Sculp. as a $$ clip!! It's nice & light &"SHARP"!
You can open it one handed(cast will not get in the way)!!:DGet well soon!!

Definitely get SOG X-42 Field Knife. Here it is:

Get their X-42 Recondo only if you wouldn’t be satisfied with Field Knife’s performance. No way inversely! :D

I probably will get one next year to go with the Field Pup I plan to buy next month (funds willing).

Thanks Jim. I can't wait till the plastic surgen says my that my severed Tendons have healed and I can use my arm again. BTW What does the Sculptura match?:p he he he. Sounds like you really like yours.

Ron, your enthusiasm and letting the products speek for thems selves plus being a great guy is why you're a good sales man in my opinion. But, that there was just mean and crual.;)
 
Sergiusz Mitin, that's a cool pic of you're Field knife. Do you have a Field Pup to go with it? Or the Recondo?
 
Serg, I like those pics. I never noticed how nicely the Sculp. matches the Field Knife. Way cool. Thanks for sharing them:)
