Collection is growing, need more storage!

I use a Maxpedition dodecapod for my knife collection. I love it because it's sturdy and well padded. My knives are safe in it while traveling.

Problem is, I've got more than 12 knives now! What are you guys using to store your knives? I prefer something soft as I travel a lot. I might just get another dodecapod, but I'd like to hear what other options are working for everyone.

So...what do you guys use? How is it working?

Pegboard.

It holds my entire collection where I can see them all at once, plus it holds a bunch more stuff from various other hobbies.
Spyderco and others with a hole hang by the blade. Those without need a small lanyard.

Other bags from here I do have, very, very high quality, especially for the price.
On the list but from the looks of it, seems bigger knives may be more comfy in it, hard to tell.

I actually just save the Priority Mail boxes that a lot of my knives have been shipped in and use those for storage. Each one holds about five normal-sized folders, and they stack neatly. But since you're looking for something portable/padded, that's not going to be of much help (at least until your collection grows to the point where it really wouldn't be practical to take it on trips and you need to store some at home).
