This Wednesday will be one year exactly since I came to Blade Forums. In that time I have learned so much about knives its ridicules. My wife also now knows more about knives than anyone she has ever met simply b/c I can't stop talking about them. :D Well anyway, when I came here to this place I only owned two knives that are even worth mentioning and one of them is a S&W :barf: the other was a MOD.

I have had allot come and go, and thought I would share what I have been able to hold onto over the course of the last year:

The khukris is a passaround

Wow man, that is an awesome collection. I have a SS Cricket and an Emerson Specwar...thats it, but I am just starting:) Next to the collection is a UT6!

When I started off , I went after all CRKTs as I thought they were the best bang for the buck. Then I sold them all off and got Benchmades and Spydercos. However after a trade deal that left me with two Socom Elites and a LUDT. It was all over. I ended up selling darn near 3/4 of my collection and bought up every MT I could afford.

I need to start focusing on Customs now. David Winston has me covered on fixed blades, so I need to go after some Lightfoots, Duncans, and some day, the HOLY GRAIL..... The TNT :p

I REALLY wish I made more than 9 bucks an hour...
As I look at that collection again I realise how much that must have cost, what do you do?

By the way, I don't want this thread to be just about me:p

Tell us how your collection is coming along, what your after now as far as your style of knives you collect or how your taste have changes since you started and of course, pictures are more than welcome :)

 I am currently unemployed!! I quit my job a year ago to take care of my newborn son until my wife gets discharged from the Navy. We didn't want to put him in daycare so young. I just pinch pennies here and there ;)

Thanks Paul, as a dealer I am sure you have a crazy collection. Share with us:)

(Edited to add)

I found this picture from last October. You can see how I changed up alittle. I only count about 2-3 of these knives I still have. The rest all reside in the hands of some forumite here;)

If you sold all those you could buy a cheap car!

Then again... who really wants a cheap car?? Oh man.. too much time on my hands.

I tried trading a cheap car for a Mayo and didn't get any takers :( Maybe I should BTTT that thread ;)

BadGuy, I commend you. Anyone willing to trade a car for a knife...even a cheap car... is worthy of much respect!:D

I like that white handled hook blade in the lower left-hand corner. Who is it made by? The handle design looks sort of like a Newt Livesay.

You could have made $35 off Mr. DeadSkinMask.

Hey, Mr. TheBadGuy, it's nice to see a balisong in there. To have gone from zero to exotics such as balisongs and autos is pretty amazing. You've got a full-blown infection, I'm afraid.

The one in the older October thread? Thats a Max Burnett Castrator. It currently resides in Clydetz's collection

Gollnick, It is amazing how much more fun it is flipping with a quality Bali. I was used to the flea market specials. I have my sights set on one of those Microtech Camofly models and expect to have it within a week or so. I am also thinking about one of those Typhoon kit knives!:)

TBG - Sorry to jump into your thread but figured since I did purchase your 10 1/2" OAL, 5160 hand forged, 6" acid etched bladed, Max Burnett 'Castrator' & K Williams asked about it, I'd try posting a pix for him to get a better look. Here's one for you TBG: since I'm the 3rd owner of this knife, the number 3 has become my 'lucky' number!:D
