How does one sell off some[collection, hobby] U.S.A. DISCONTINUED knifes to pay a LARGE NOT self made sewer run bill to get the money ?
My thought ,,lump some together ,to save on [sight space] and [repeat threads, posts ] and time..As a gold member now.
Whats yours..?

This problem came up because it is difficult for us to distinguish how many knives become a dealer operation, and how long this sale will continue.

For example, a while ago we had a member with a similar situation, but months later he continues to post a lot of high-end customs. He now has to become a Dealer to continue.

The rules are clear. The cut-off point may not be. We are open to discussion.

Just a friendly reminder - You might be a dealer if..

... you buy knives with the express purpose to turn around and resell them at a profit, on a regular basis, then you just might be a dealer.
... you buy knives at wholesale, then turn around and sell them at just below retail, then you just might be a dealer.
... you have a store, or a certificate of resale, and are selling here as a Gold Member, then you just might be a dealer.

We're getting reports of at least 3 individuals listed as Gold members engaging in this sort of thing. Needless to say, this is frowned upon and will get your Gold Membership pulled.

Just a friendly warning from your friendly forums Administrator.

Great sight, I know its a lot of hard work ,and hard to make some decisions.
Some may not allways agree .
Its still getting better, and allways be trying to you and your staff.
Big one ,is being even accross the board.

Question.
There seems to be a missunderstanding as to tags been seen on pics . in the individuals for sale .Which has ended up locking a gold member out of selling 9 knifes there. q. How would someone else keep a record of serial numbers on a gerber MK II when theres over 250,000 of these made, all having there own numbered kind ?. And how do other members keep tract of there knifes values , production dates, if there not wrote down ? Is there wrong doing being organized, so not to mix sheaths up or knifes and keeping order.? This has been a part of my records. Its no different then book keeping , or, check book ..Write it down so you know what you have ..date ,name,$ spent
Sorry Thanks ..

I dont think it was a misunderstanding about the tags. I believe your threads were locked because of the quantities you're selling/planning to sell.

Thanks for this opportunity. To at least understand what went down , I WAS ABLE TO CALL 502 813 5002 bf. It was my understanding thats the flag Tags] making it look flee market items [DEALER]..As expressed ,it is my fault for the number mentioned ,and as it has allready been talked over with the mod .who locked me and owner of BF.ITS IS NOT THE INTENT. Theres a great number of members who have listed since this ,that has listed 26 pieces and others some less, then my number 9 ..For SAle by individuals is a sight to sell. I signed up Gold for this opportunity, I have a lot of extras of U.S.A. old knifes. I need not setting in my safes. Again thanks for the contact.
