I've never really had them all together before, since I'm definitely one of those "Users who accumulate" guys. Anyone else ever put them all together for the first time and say, "Damn, thats a lot"

This picture is missing 2 SAK climbers, an imperial BSA folder, a Gerber Guardian Tanto, Charge TTi, Wingman, a small al mar thats on my keys, Case Muskrat Redbone, Boker Gnome, and my Grandfather's Buck 301. I know its nothing compared to what some of you guys have, feel free to post pics! Whats your collection look like, what do you store yours in, What are your favorites?

The ones I have the most history with:

Seen bigger collections but yours is quite representative.
Benchmade, Buck, Kershaw, Spyderco, Emersaon, Kabar, RAT/ESSEE .... did I miss anything?

My "collection" is in a pelican case and as much as I don't like hoarding knives, I have crept up to 15 folders and 4 fixed blades. But as Indian said there are guys here with massive.. and I mean MASSIVE collections.

Not my whole collection by a long shot, but some of the highlights I keep in my Pelican case.

There are a few that aren't here, but I'll play....

Boker and Beretta made an appearance too, but I don't have any Cold Steel or Mora knives right now.

I know some guys have knife rooms for their collections, I was thinking more for fellow accumulating user types. Pelican cases are a great idea!

AKC, I LOVE your collection, and I'm not even a fixed blade collector!

00ChevyScott, is that a textured carbon fiber scale on your 0560?

Most of these were added to my collection a long time ago.

I need to get all my fixed blades together in one place for a family pic, but here's some of them

After 40 or so years of accumulatin'/collectin' I pretty much always had a handle, (pun intended) on it. Over the years as I went from a few in my drawer to a bunch in a box, into brief cases, knife rolls, padded aluminum equipment cases, tool boxestackle boxes.

Pretty much as the collection grew to, last count 300+, I've had to find bigger and better ways to store 'em, as that happend I always had to be concious of how many knive I had because I always had to grow my storage accordingly.

It's hard to keep track of your knives if ya have 'em stored in twenty boxes in 2 different places.

I used to use an antique standup womans Cherrywood Jewelry cabinet, lots of interestin' places and ways to keep knives in there, had neckers hangin' of the necklace caddy, smaller peanuts and pens tucked into where the rings went, bigger folders in the different drawers and the top flipped up and I was able to keep a few bigger fixed blades in there.

The possibilitie are endless, if ya say all yer knives are users and workin' knives I say go the tookbox route, if they're tool, store 'em like tools.

Now if ya have a collection and ya wanna let people see or ya wanna take 'em to shows to show off all yer hard work, go the display case route, just make sure ya invest in quality cases, your displays will look nicer and your collection will be more secure.

Only had 4 hours sleep in the last 2 days, probably should never have gotten on the computer this tired. ;) Anyway, FWIW that my 2 cents.

^ Good idea on the tool box, I might setup a foam liner on the bottom and side so the CF doesn't get beat up on the few I have with it.

If ya go to the dollar store ya can buy rolls of nonskid liner thats perforated so it doesnt allow moisture to rest against the knives as they lay in the drawers also if ya go the toolbox route make sure the box stays in a consistent/stable temp and a few bags if dessicant go a long way towards protectin' yer investment, and tools, (wheather knives or wrenches) are always an investment.

Was doing some quick sharpening and decided to take a picture of the whole drawer at once.
Not a "collector", per se, just a casual user.

Now I'm just pulling numbers out of my ear, but if that's about half your Hinderer's, then you have something like eleven thousand dollars, just in CRKs and Hinderers!

Wow!
