A month ago I mailed a personel check to the Buck Collector's Club @ the VA. address. I haven't heard anything in response. Is this normal?

You probably have a while longer to wait. I am a member, but I have no idea why.

From reading the past several posts you have made it is apparent you are very disgruntled with Buck. From the reasons I can gather it is because things weren't done when you wanted, as you wanted and to your satisfaction. I've had that happen before. It's called life. But the outstanding products and service of Buck far outweigh the minor inconveniences from time to time. Stop moping dude.

Tom, Email Club President John Foresman, at BUCKCUSTOM@aol.com give him the info and he will respond. If you do it tonight you might hear tomorrow.

Sawgrass, If you have question about BCCI membership, you can do the same and he will be glad to talk to you. If you have complaints or questions about problems with Buck Knives, call or email Buck Customer Service and ask to speak to Joe Houser. Buck is a company that will listen to your questions or complaints and do the best they can to fix things.

Everyone please remember this forum was started quite a while back by people interested in talking about Buck knives, some of that can be about problems your having but this is not a consumer help site. We all will be glad to make suggestions on problems but in the end it is Buck Knives Customer Service that will repair or replace a problem knife.

I presume you mailed a check for membership? Figure time from Idaho to VA, time for the check to clear, throw in a holiday and the fact that John has a full time job in addition to his BCCI duties and return mail to Idaho and a month may not be out of the ordinary. As 300 Bucks stated, there is nothing wrong with sending an email. Things do fall between the cracks on occasion. I presume your check has not cleared yet. If that is the case it's possible that you check was never received which again an email would be in order.

FWIW I forgot my password the other day for the BCCI website. Sent my email but still haven't gotten a response so will resend again today. Things can get hectic for us all.

John was away from home (out of state, actually) for about 2-3 weeks in early to mid-August so that would explain the delay. But, just as Craig suggested, send him an email. Some days, because of working late, he does not get to his computer but if you give him a day or so extra, he will certainly reply and address your issue.
