Description

A very interesting earlier Kukri, possibly early 1900's, with a kit of tools in the scabbard. They could be either medical, or general purpose, although several look like scalpels to me. As the pictures show, they are varied, and include what may be a button hook, pliers, a corkscrew, several fine knives or scalpels, a small saw, and more. They are fitted on the scabbard in a special multi-pocketed piece where normally the two small sharpening knives (which are present) go. Most have bone grips. The kukri itself has a wooden grip, which may be missing a pommel cap. The blade is spotted, but good, partially covered in a cosmoline-like substance. The scabbard is worn but intact. Overall length in the scabbard is 16 and 1/2 inches. We stand behind what we sell. If the item is not as described, you may return it within ten days for refund minus postage. We accept Ebay Payments, Paypal, and cashier's checks.

I saw the Malla right after It came on Ebay. I also noticed that Uncle Bill is not mentioned nor is HI, although the seller copied/pasted the desc. from the website...

It really is a pity this guy didn't mention that it was made by HI...I hope he's not a forum member.

I really dig that first one, thats a lotta stuff! Reminds me of that Berk Special...

Wish I had the cash to bid on that one.

I've been burned on a good looking ( completely crappy and expensive) non-HI khuk and now although I look quite a lot, I stay w/ Uncle Bill.

Actually, it is Uncle Bill's photograph on the auction page.

Isn't the image copyrighted?

...Beoram?!?

Actually it would be helpful to HI if a small imprint of the logo was placed in the bottom Right corner of each pic (or wherever).

Let's hope that this seller has good intentions and wish him/her the best with their auction.

$105 for a practically NIB Malla HI Khuk ain't bad...

Well, We'll see how it really looks 'cause I'm gonna send paypal to that fella in a few minutes.
That makes 6 HI khuks I've gotten from Ebay. I wish I'd discovered Uncle Bill and HI a few years earlier.

There's nothing on eBay that quite matches the thrill of lurking the HI forum, lying in wait for that perfect PGA, and then hitting that email "send" button like a bass on a topwater plug.

Raggy, you are certainly right! I'll check Ebay and keep an eye out. But It's so bad for me I have my wife check in to the Cantina to see what is up for UBDOTDs/PGAs.
