First as a longtime lurker I would like to thank all of you for the knowledge that you have and your willingness to share it.
About 25 years ago i moved to a small town in Connecticut located just next to Collinsville.
During that time I have dug up in my yard the following
Collins Connecticut head 3 1/2 lb
Collins Double Bit 3 1/2 lb
R.King hatchet
Collins and Co Machete (well half of one)

That's great! Have you done any research into previous owners of your home?
I am just a couple towns south of you, the Collins history and lore are massively abundant here, especially up near you.
