  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Just hung my Collins Hudson Bay on a Beaver Tooth 19" straight/miners handle. Finished the hickory handle with a coffee gel stain and a dark brown Briwax. Has great control with both hands at full swing. Also knocked out a sheath. Got to love the holiday break for getting caught up on things. Looking forward to taking it up the St. Lawrence.

Very nice. I have a Norland H.B. I bought new almost 60 years ago. I hung it exactly the same way with a hand made shagbark hickory haft. Still has the same haft. Very all- around useful axe. I used mine for Log Cabin building and restoration all my working life. It is especially useful for corner notching because you can get one of your hands on the haft right behind the blade and push it to plane wood.

Very nice indeed! bringing it to st lawrence river allmost where it belongs...
