I found this Axe on a 7 generation Farm in Bethel CT about 10 years ago. It looks to be unused with original handle. Not quite sure about the red paint but believe it to be factory applied. I have seen other similar Oldtimers with remnants of red paint.

Wondering if this is a Tasmanian pattern or a very stout Conecticut? Measures 3 1/2 X 1 at the poll, 7 5/8 from poll to edge and edge is 5 1/2. Axe weighs 4 pounds 13 ounces with handle.

Sorry thought I could drop and drag photos...oh well

Yeah I figured that and I call BS it's so easy for the website to allow drop and drag. life is to short for things like this to be more complicated then they need to be.

They do allow it, but you've gotta have a paid membership.
That may sound crazy, but it encourages people to hang around to be productive contributing members instead of some who might just want to use this place for free knife appraisal.

A shame i was looking forward to learning more about the axe and maybe the farm in Bethel.

Images require storage space and bandwidth to host, so native hosting costs money for the site owner. You can drag and drop if you're a paid member here, but otherwise you'll just need an offsite image host.
