Collins Quality Thru the Years

So, take a look at this pic - 5 Collins axes -

The Collins Commander, if you can see it, represents a time that I have talked about in my threads, say from 1960s to really mid 2000s where axe quality has been, lets say, not there.

The bevels you see in blue - those are painted on the axe. Good times.

PS those 2 connecticuts I am going to clean up, sharpen correctly, and haft if anyone is interested in specs to acquire.

Hey Operator,
I'm interested in the specs of the Connecticuts and what their edges look like. I have an old Mann and have no frame of reference for it.
 
Thanks. The Connecticut is one of my favorite patterns. Reminds me of a scaled down racing axe in many ways.

That is bad! What can you tell me about the ones on each side of it. What brought on the change in quality? Did the logo also change?
