I HAVE A OLD AX STAMPED MANUFACTURED BY COLLINS&CO. HARTFORD EXPRESSLY FOR THE SEAGRAVE CO. COLUMBUS OHIO.HOPING TO FIND MORE ABOUT THE AX

Seagrave, now that's a name I haven't heard since the clone wars, if I recall correctly they were only marked seagrave for a fire department in L.A.

Either way it's an awesome head

Pictures. I have had a couple, they look like big fire axe heads but with pointed Jersey style lugs. I have never heard of one without the spike, so maybe it has been modified? Need pics.

Here's an example from an old auction listing:

Seagrave being a major manufacturer of fire appraratus had axes branded for them.
I understand they are desired collectable by axe and fire equipment nerds.
