I made this sheath out of five layers of vegetan leather, dyed it antic tan

Beautiful! I absolutely love the dye. That's the color I wanted when I bought Fiebings yellow. Did you groove the back panel before the holes?
 
Thanks, yes i grooved the back panel but I had to make the holes trough all the layers and at the down point I missed the groove ;-) If you want the color I used, it is Fiebings antique leather stain Tan. I like that color myself very much too.
 
I've accidentally grooved the back without thinking a couple of times. It's a challenge to get the holes right when I've done it. 5 layers posses it's own issues! When I've done them that thick, even grooving after, I had to make slight corrections on the back.

Good work, and thanks for the tip on the dye. I'll most certainly give it a try. :)
