Anyone out there have any experience with these. how does the gold plating hold up under use. And is it safe to ASSume that the lockup on them is as good as the other kiss knives. Thanks in advance.

I forgot to mention that this is a possible gift for my sister so I'd like to know how the edge holds up to moderate abuse and how easy is it to sharpen because she has a hard time sharpening so it would realistically would only be sharpened when I'm around...unless its real easy to sharpen....
 
I suppose it's one of those KISS knives....
I've heard cases (on the forums) where the lock got disengaged, and the blade opened in the pocket. I suppose they're really not that safe for pocket carry.
