Hello all. I'm in the final stages of a project and to make the project really stand out, I'm thinking of using Yellow and Black Carbon Fiber. I saw a Ken Onion piece recently that used Blue and Black Carbon fiber, and it turned out beautiful. Is there anything I should watch out for with working Yellow colored Carbon fiber scales? Is there any truth in that the color protions aren't really carbon based, but rather kevlar based? If so, what can I expect? Thanks.

Carbon fiber laminate is black, even if you color the resin trough it still tends to acquire just a tint. The yellow stuff in all propability is Kevlar or some other Aramid, that can be coloured much more easily but only if you colour the resin before laminating. Aramids tend to degrade in sunlight so don't leave your knife there for long.

Well, who am I to argue with the pro's? Guess I'll settle for regular black CF. Thanks for the advise.
