Color variation in the Paradigm Avid

I just got my second Paradigm Avid this afternoon and immediatly noticed a slight difference in the handle colors. I don't think I captured it too well in the picture, but the new one (04/28/10), the bottom one, has a definate green cast to it while the older one (12/11/09) is more grey. They are both nice, but I think I prefer the newer one.

They do look a tad different, but then again I am color deficient :D

You better just send them here, I will try to capture the shades with my camera! ;)

For sure they are different.I looked at a retail site this morning and it read expected delivery date 6/17.I went back again this evening and it said 6/26. It's changed at least 10 times or more. LOL,this must be 1 heck of a knife! I'm lucky to have the great Buck knives I've already got. I'm as happy as a tick on a hound dog!

The new one has a definate olive green cast to it which I like. The place I bought this last one from has both in stock right now. The Avid is now $97.47 and the Pro is $116.97 plus $6.95 Priority Mail shipping. Depends on how bad you're wanting one I guess.
 
Well the huge gap in price between the pro and avid has closed I see. I was figgerin on avid but now might as well go with a pro for $20.......or at least 1st and then the avid later:D
