Hey guys. I'm stuck in a spot trying to make up my mind between a green blade black handle nmsfno or a sage blade and tan handle.

This will be my first busse blade. After a lot of looking waiting and reserch this is the knife that will best serve my needs.

Any helpfull hints or comments welcome

They all look good to me, but this time I went with sage blade and black handle on my NMSFNO. Only you know which color combo looks best to you. It's a great knife, I can tell you that much.

i've alway's liked the green/black combo. it just seem's more at home in the wood's.

Thanks guys.

Horn dog, I've heard some people say that the sage finish kind of drags when cutting?

Any truth to that in your opinion?

I was watching some you tube video's and everyone that had a busse blade had nothing but good to say about them.

Tanto Boy---Get your favorite Busse color then have Garth give it the 'ole Satin.
:D

I get this question ALOT...all of the coatings are the same so I always tell people this....

Get what you like:):)

Cause the knife will DO THE EXACT SAME THING no matter what color it is...

BEAT IT AND USE IT...and always take pics:thumbup::thumbup:

just my 2 cents,

All coatings except maybe teflon drag some. It's not the kind of thing you'd ever notice unless you did a lot of side by side
tests with a satin one and a coated one. My sage one out chopped my Chopweiler, which is a heck of a chopper, and my chopweiler is stripped.

For what it's worth I have the Green coating and it's very smooth, feels like a satin blade to the touch. OD/Black, Sage/Black... what a perdicament, both are lookers IMO. You must acquire both at this point, or you will never be truelly happy.;)

thanks again every one. I'm going with the green and black combo for the first one!

I'll post pictures when I get the knife. Like a proud papa with a new baby boy. ( My four year old boy likes the green blade) By the way.

Get what appeals to you. I am partial to sage with either tan or black micarta so that would be my pick. The green looks especially good with the black G10.

That would be my choice as well. The Green/Black is my favorite coating combo...well other than Green, Black or Tan with Snakeskin slabs.

You'll love it:thumbup:

MMMMMMMMMMMMMm...Snakeskin...HOW I MISS IT and How I love it:grumpy::grumpy:

Black Micarta with Sage or Jungle both look great. You'll really like the Black/Jungle NMSFNO--that's the combo I have...
