Colorado Auto/Balisong Loophole?

I was looking at the Colorado law, and it defines knife as a blade over 3.5". Does that mean that balis and autos are legal under 3.5?

You have to look at the whole of Article 12, not just Section 105. Section 102 makes the mere possession of any switchblade or "gravity knife" a class 1 misdemeanor. Balis are not explicitly in there, and there is not any case law to date either way, but the gravity knife definition could be applied to balis due to the use of the phrase "the application of centrifugal force."
