One of these is going to a fellow Bladeforums member who is here in Colorado!

Both of these are a little over a foot long and are made from differentially hardened .262 5160 steel.

The top one has a scotchbrite finish, it can be easily maintained with a common green scotchbrite pad. The bottom one has only been finished that way where the scales will go to help with epoxy adhesion. Both have highly polished tips and edges.

Oh I'll definitely take the top one w scotchbrite finish! These look great Daniel, thanks again!

I have the green canvas micarta scales ready for glue up and the stainless hardware ready to go. At the moment I'm waiting on an etcher before glue up, it has been back ordered.

There is also a titanium backpacker profiled out with the spine rounded. I'm going to drill the handle, texture it, chamfer the holes, grind the bevel and choil then heat color it... it's going to be cool!

I've been out sanding all day, check it out! It still isn't 100% finished yet but it is close. Sheath Time!

What a pair!
Nicely done Daniel, I'll have no problem putting them to good use.
