Hey everyone out here in Colorado,

I have been talking to a few newbies these days and they always ask if we have a get together out here...

I kept wondering, "do we ever have a get together?". The more I looked I could not find anything.

If someone knows of a group of makers that get together, let me know.

Since I have never heard of or seen a gtg of makers, I would like to try to organize one.

I am near southlands but don't mind driving. A few newbies are near me and we would all be fine with meeting somewhere in the middle. Those of you out in for Collins or wherever, we can work out a middle ground so your drive isn't so bad.

Myself and the newbies I have been helping are fine with simply going out for coffee or doing a full blown workshop build fest.

Any opinion would be wonderful and we would love some help organizing this.

I am down for a day on the weekend!

I wouldn't mind driving I guess... as long as it is on the Eastern side of the mountains and not super far.

I wouldn't mind meeting up at a work shop either.

Let me know what you guys would be interested in, I will try to help as much as I can.
 
Hi, Ray here...new to this forum and knife building. I have talked to Alex [ Harden Knives] about a possible coffee meet..I'm a Old Guy ,so coffee and talk is always good.

Hey ray! It has been awesome texting with you and taking to you on the phone.

Still would like any other knife makers or knife nuts to join in.
 
Thsts a shame. I just got my shop set up again here in fort lupton, I would love to meet other makers in the area.
 
I'm based out of Fort Collins. My shop is super small and honestly just a few tools. But if I am free I like doing that kind of stuff

Nice. I just got my pheer grinder in. I purchased a home made grinder about a year ago. And a buddy of mine is storing his KMG here too...... I don't know what to do with myself lol. What kind of tools are you using? I'd love to see your work.
 
Hey guys let me know when you want to hang, I'll be there-I've made a couple of knives, but its been a while just got done with my garage so hopefully I can bring a few more of my ideas to fruition,cut my tendon on my left index finger a couple of yrs ago,so not sure how it will play out....look forward to meeting a few fellow knife knuts
