Are there any working Knife makers or smiths in/around/near Ft. Collins Colorado? I have plans for a roller mill and need some help welding and fabrication - we can make two.

Jerry, I hate to see a thread with 0 responses. I can't help you, I'm in Kaintuckee. I'll look in some of the Knives Annuals.

Heya Jerry,
I'm in Colorado too (denver) but I'm just a wannabe. Check out the PKA, Proffesional Knifmakers Association's web site as many of those guys are in the region. Hope this helps,,,

Mike Irie of Colorado Springs

No store or website. I bought a knife from him at the last Denver show. Nice guy. Mine is a small fixed blade - all skeletonized and polished ATS-34 with an acid/salt etched pattern. He makes NICE folders with mastadon ivory scales and etched pattern bolsters. He also makes some nice larger fixed blade knives.

There's another one down there, but I can't remember right now.

of Dove Knives. He's been making knives for 20+ years and teaches bladesmithing as well. He lives in Keenesburg (E of Brighton on 76) and has a big shop with lathes and mills and about every machine and tool you can think. He's a really nice guy to work with too.

Look him up on the web and tell him I sent you.
