My son, Alex, is an aspiring film maker and made a TV commercial for colon cancer awareness- for this role he needed a old fart who looked like a putz on film and one who would take direction without complaining.

That would be me!

2 hours of filming, yielded 14 minutes of usable tape which resulted in a 32 second commercial.

Filmed on location at True North Knives... ;)

So, here I am in my first ever starring role as a stressed overworked business executive who is afraid to have anything to do with the word... COLON.

Props to my boy who worked his tail off to get this project done. He is a terrific son.

Cool! Kudos to you and your boy! Great pun!

Colonoscopies can save your life. If you're 50 or over and haven't had one, don't put it off. A respected colleague of mine is now fighting for his life after being diagnosed with colon cancer.

men do'nt like that invasive exam since it's so personal. get the thing could save your life, the guy that wrote peanuts [charles schlutz] let it take him out...dennis

Very good - a movie star among us! It's great that you're doing the spot for a great cause. While colonoscopies are less than fun, they do save lives and are critical as you get older (or have a chronic condition, like me). Kudos.

Yep ive had way too many digits up my butt lately:eek:,but like they say a colonoscopy or prostate exam may save your life!!Regards Butch--nice clip by :thumbup:the way

I have to get scoped regularly with my advanced Chron's. Just do it! It does not hurt, and the procedure is pleasant with the shot of Demerol the doc provides. The prep is the worst, when you have to go a day without food and have to drink that nuclear enema that turns your butt into the space shuttle at launch. Don't wander too far from the toilet and you will do fine.
