Colored Alox SAKs, painted or anodized?

Are the colored Alox Vic SAKs painted or anodized? Could you anodize the silver ones (if they're raw Aluminum)? It might be cool to have your own unique color if you could do a good job. I did see a thread a few years ago on here with instructions on DIY anodizing. Not sure if it's still around.

That's my understanding as well, they're all anodised already. IIRC my high school science anodising simply creates a thicker layer of oxidisation on the metal. So in this case Aluminium Oxide or Alox.
