Well, not neccesarrily together. I was wondering about two things today as I was driving home from work (I do my best thinking then).

1. Has Spyderco ever thought about making the Endura and/or Delica with colored Zytel handles? I'd love to see something other than black or green; maybe blue or red.

2. What ever happened to the black blades? I have an older style Endura with a black serrated blade, and it looks AWESOME. Why did Spyderco stop making them?

I understand that it's every company's goal to lower expenses and keep on hand inventory and SKUs to a minimum, but let's face it, a little variety in one or two models would go a long way.

There have been many colored-handled Spydercos. Pink, Blue, Green, Orange, Red, Yellow to name a few...a batch of pink Delicas is scheduled for later this year, I believe..I am waiting anxiously for that one myself. There have been a few discussions here about coated blades, heres a recent link:

Re colored handles:
I'd like to see Delicas in blue and tan, so as to better blend in with different colored pants. I've been carrying Delicas ever since they came out, but only in the last year or so have people started to notice them--perhaps the result of clip-knives becoming more popular.

This may not be possible with the new metal clips, though. Am I the only one who preferred the Zytel clips?

Re coated blades:
I bought 4 of the black-coated serrated Delicas a few years ago, and ended up giving them all away as gifts. They have all seen hard use and the coating is still going strong.
