I was wondering if offering different colored sheaths for the Izula has ever been considered. I'd personally love to see a coyote brown and foliage green Izula sheath available. I could see this particularly appealing to military personal that like the MOLLE locks on the sheath but would like it match their LBE a little better. The sheath system is one of things that drew me to the Izula and offering more color varieties would just improve upon that.

At this point, I'm just planning on painting the sheath for my desert tan Izula a nice khaki color and then eventually buying the OD Izula and painting that sheath a foliage green color. I'd still think colored sheaths would be a winner, though!

After all... I know we all want matching pink sheaths for our pink Izulas:D

you can have a custom kydex sheath done in practically any color
here is my digicam kydex sheath, made by fellow forum member hoopster

Hoopster, Shotgunner11 or one of our other kydex benders could hook you up. The stock Izula sheath is alright, but some nice custom kydex is well worth it and for the Izula, they're pretty affordable. $20-30 range.

I've seen some of the kydex sheathes made by the guys on the forum and they are quite impressive. I suppose they wouldn't have any trouble making them MOLLE compatible which, as I said, was a big draw for me about the Izula sheath system.

you should be able to put one molle lock on the sheath. and if it was a "pancake" sheath you should be able to put two on.

I find myself lusting for one of Hoopster's digicam sheaths
but until I can swing it, the paint can will have to do.

That looks great man! What's the name of the paint you used?

Another  for hoopster's sheaths. I have the Urban Digicam and also have a Desert Digicam on the way.

The paint is Krylon brand, camouflage with Fusion for plastic. Comes in non-reflective nature colors. I used the khaki color. The Fusion bonds to plastic without any sanding or priming and seems to be holding up very well. Got the paint at walmart.
