Hello again. I recently picked up my first Microtech. Part of the reason I bought this one in particular was because it was A forest green mini-socom. A while ago I was going to get A pink endura just because it was pink. I know Gigand makes some colored handles and Microtech is doing it again with the new UDT's. The red BFC Sifu, the colored spyderco's and other companies too. What do you think about non-black knives? Are they less scary to the sheeple? The cops? What are your preferences...would you own A colored knife? IMO, I like 'em!

Love the Colors man..I have a few in my small collection..

Spyderco Ladybug = Purple
REKAK SIFU = Red
Blackie Collins/Gerber neck knife = Pink

Just got a 12/97 MT SOCOM on trade.Im waiting to hear from other end to see if trade is satisfactory..If so the SOCOM will get mirror polished and anodized some crazy color..Also Kurt Meerdink has some wild handle material..

And I can't even look at posts of Darrel Ralph Apogee's.I lose alot of body functions and just sink into a strange drooling stare..

I'm very pleased that colored-handle models are becoming more available. Way too much black in my collection. I have 4 colored Microtechs and hope to add more.

I think colored knives are great. I have a Bladeforums Carnivore(red/black). I wished they did more knives with colored handles. I love the way Benchmade does the 730 Axis lock handle, just not the colors. On knives like that they could change the colors every model year. Now if REKAT would just make the Carnivore Cub with a blue G-10 handle and a polished blade. I think I would be in heaven.

Met him at the Blade show this year. Actually this is the Wife's knife. Her favorite color is purple. So I get her purple knives when she finds one she likes.

Really nice older gentleman and his wife. (I'm 47) They had some really nice looking stuff besides this one. The scales on this knife are really a bluish-purple with white veining. We have found out that this stone is very hard to work with. It likes to split in a vein.

I'm holdin out for that new Kershaw Boa with the colored blade that is the same color as the handles.
