I ran a thread last spring similar to this one but with all the new faces I am seeing here I thought I would just bring it up again. I just won another colored Dyad on Ebay the other night. That was the first one I seen on Ebay in over a year. Plus I have been noticing that certain colored Spyders like the Pink Delica and Pink Cricket are really bringing in the $$$.

So what colored Dyads and assorted colored Spyders have you guys/gals been running into? And what are some of the rare birds in this flock have you already corraled?

JD,
Some of the colored ones that I have are the PE Q set (red, blue, green, grey and black), pink cricket, Old OD green Endura and delica, burgandy vesuvius (sp), red, blue and orange Guntings, Tan Endura, grey and burgandy calypso Jr, 2 types of blue natives. I also have Blue twill G10 and a tan G10 ParaMilitary. I like the colors. Now I need a Forest green jester and a tan native :D

Got this one from a fella on eBay, pretty good deal too.

The GF wanted a pink Spydie (in PE ), I didn't even think they made a pink Jester in PE.

Ah, the wonders of eBay :D

I've been having a tough time locating a pink PE jester (for my GF as well). 1SKS said they had one in stock, so I bought it. Several days later, nothing. I email them. Days later, still nothing, no response. After the second email, they email me and tell me they don't have one.
Then I bought one from a dealer on ebay (a powerseller). A week goes by, nothing. I email him 3 times over the following week, no response.... I finally get an email saying he doesn't have the pink one. Still looking.......

May be able to help you out with a Pink SE Jester. Drop me a line @ garrysim at gmail dot com

Take care

The blue Guntings (CRMIPTs) have been popping up fairly regularly this past month. Haven't seen any for a while before this, but there were three in the past month.

That Dyad you snagged was the first I've ever seen up there in quite a while. Congrats on that one.:)

I see colored Delicas and Enduras constantly, blue and green primarily.

There's also been several Blue Lum's for sale recently, which used to be quite scarce.

I'm not even going to get into the Pink knives, they are reaching prices I never imagined.

Scott if you think the Blue Chinese Lum is a rare bird then I challenge you to try to find one in Cranberry. OH Yes!! they do exist!!.. The last one I seen up on Ebay was last March. When they listed it ( only 20 minutes old) I put it on my watch list>> Then 15 minutes later I go back to look at it and it was already gone. The guy who goes by "Swede" on the Spyderco Forum had already grabbed it for $375 BIN. I have been feverishly looking for one since but no cigar:( . I have also heard there is another Chinese Lum that is dark gray with the Spyder & Web engraved on it. I have only seen one picture of that one and that has been about a year ago. Colored Spyders>> They are a delight for sure;)

I have never even heard of a Cranberry one. That is indeed a rare bird. Were they prototypes, or just an exceedingly small production, like the colored Dyads?

I learned something new today:D

Thanks JD.
