The afternoon sunshine drew me outside to snap a few photos of some colorful bone handled knives. This one turned out the best.

Very nice selection Doug! I am kinda partial to the yeller and enjoy the story behind it ;)

Thank you Jeff and Grant. The two on the far right are the old ones I have had rehandled.

The wood handles prefer the softer light of indirect sunshine (not really that good of a picture, but you get the idea).

Doug, I always enjoy your pictures:thumbup: John Deere would be proud of the two on the far right:p

The heck with sunglasses, I got a pair of welders goggles around here someplace.
:D

Darn fine collection of knives, Doug. Love the old look on the Boker barlow scales.

Carl.

Thanks Carl. I keep thinking I will turn that one loose as I try to reduce the number of knives I have, but that old bone just won't release me from its spell.

I probably missed it elsewhere, but what is the jack in this pic?

Those are awesome, Doug. That yellow one is sweet. What is it?

Thanks. It is an old cheap barlow by Colonial that I bought over 40 years ago. When one of the clip on handles came loose I decided to have it rehandled in bone due to its sentimental connection to my childhood, and the good blade steel. Take a look here for a thread I posted when I got it back.

Thanks, Doug. That knife is sick :)

Blaine, it is a Landers, Frary & Clark from 1912-1950. I got it because of the attractive ebony.
