i have noticed that the titanium liners on a few of my customs have 'faded' or changed color from the original bright finish. one knife in particular went from a deep beautiful royal blue to a faded light purple!? these knives have not been carried and have been wiped down with only a soft chamois-type cloth. is there anyway to restore the color or to prevent this 'fading'?

dmc, try this, clean the insides and sides of your liners with Windex, see if some or any of the color comes back.

I have anodized peices especially in the purple spectrum that react with the oils from your hands and ever your lubricants to refract a different color.

I have a peice here that is a deep purple, and wherever I touch it, it turns light blue. It is the thickness of a layer or hand oils or moisture that refracts a different color...

Try the cleaning, if that doesnt work send it to me and I will re anodize it for ya!!
