This is what happens when Colt and Busse get together.
Some collaboration, huh?!
The Kimber was adopted into the family.
And, yes, those are Busse grips on the AR.
If you have a BETTER looking family than this,
then prove it with photos! :)

I have a chance to pick up a Colt LE6920 carbine tomorrow at a good price. Your pics may have just given me the push I needed to do it.

OK that is cool, what did you do to the AR Grip to make the 1911 grips fit ?

Ok. Found it. Made by Pearce. Just google AR15 1911 grip. I found them a few places for around $14.00 plus shipping. There maybe other manufacturers out there but the Pearce was the first to come up.

Garth beat me to answering you they are Pearce grips with the finger groove piece added. I have a long selector switch so I had to modify the top of the grips for clearance, maybe took 5 minutes to grind and roll the top edge of the grip, then I cut the groove pc with scissors. I can honestly say this is the best AR grip I have ever had. I am modfying all my ARs with this set-up.

Well, can't say this is better looking, but it's not bad. (would be hard to beat that grip combo you have!!! Awesome!!! 1911 grips on an AR is just plain cool.) Since it sounds like you want to see pics of others peoples "stuff," i'll throw this out....

Just finished building this... a 1943 Colt receiver with yellow/black Carbon Creations grips, a 1944 Remington Rand Slide/barrel in .45, rebuilt with mostly wilson parts, a Kimber .22 conversion with a Guardian suppressor, and a yellow/black GW with homemade leather pants... streamlight microlight so that we can enjoy it at night.

i couldn't find any G10 grips in yellow, just out of curiousity Garth, will the custom shop do those by order?

Noice! Really like those sheaths bro, especially the one for the FBM. Colt AR eh? Been hearing a alot of really good stuff about their AR platforms that have been coming out the past year. Really liked that one that is a crossover from the 223 to 308. Too cool!

If it's cool I'll piggy back a couple of photos myself:

Love your Siegles. My Hoodlum II is an absolute beast of a knife. If I ever had to TRY to chop a Busse in half I'd use the Siegle to do it.

Good-looking families, all. That Kimber RCP II is my favorite model from Yonkers, Biggerdawg. I bought three of them in case two break!!!:)
