Greetings all, I FINALLY picked up my new (to me) Colt CCO. It is a pre-XS enhanced series 80 for those of you that knows what all that means. The CCO is a commander slide on an officer's LW frame. Quite possibly the best CCW gun out there. Now, too frickin' bad I live in Illinois... can't even carry it! :grumpy: I picked her up yesterday, and got a quicky range session over lunch today to make sure it functioned OK. The indoor range was about 100 degrees inside, so it was only about 75 rds before I ran out of time and made about 8 lbs of fat swede gravy. I was quite pleased at how quick target reacquisition was. I shot this target basically as fast as I could from about 10 yrds. I look forward to an extended range session (gotta find me an air-conditioned one!) and see what kind of JHP's she likes. Hopefully one day, Illinois will go CCW... and this will be on my hip when it does.
