Just wondering if it is any good, it is just one piece 440 steel w/ teflon finish. Want to abuse it for camping but the handle is so thin I an wondering if it is comfterable????

This topic must have something to do with a knife, unknown to me, called a Colt Combat Commander.

So much for expectations.

Well, I'll just answer my version of the question.

Yes.

This will get you the picture and specs and a brief history. It was once a much more expensive item, now a cheap production version.

Personally, I think all those angles and serrations and holes and busy busy busy designs are more trouble than they're worth. Get a knife with a sharp edge and cut things with it.

I have to agree with Ken. Sheesh ... I was all primed to type in oodles of Colt Combat Commander lore at lightning speed ... I think I'll name a knife "Microsoft Windows" and put it on the market, just to cause confusion....
