You have it? Old, new? Can you post pictures? If it's the one that shows up in my web search, it's a Pakistan-made Bowie knife made to replicate the D-guard bowies of the Civil War era. What in particular were you wanting to know?
Pakistan's best A travesty. They might as well get the licensing from other firearm companies . 440a stainless. Nice horsey on a good looking scabbard. No belt, boot or pocket clip. Fifty bucks of "why on earth?" with a stag grip. I guess it will impress water bottles and wildlife (as well as anyone that really needs one). There had been something similar through Cabela's some years ago, sold as a "historic" trappers/mountain man's sword. The 18" bladed sword is longer than the D guard bowie.
Saw one at a local web-shop- just curious, Colt use to be a trademark of something of high quality, with tons of historically background to back it up. The knife looks good from pics and as The Zieg points out D-Guard bowie Civil War era, yes thats the one i`m on about. 440s stainless. Sad story.
