So I saw this on FeeBay and thought , id pay 40 republic bananas for a Colt M4-K ..

Colt M4-K
Cryoedge 440 Stainless
Handcrafted (?) in Taiwan
CT0098 2002 UCC
Pat Pending

There are a few Utube reviews (?) that go back over 10 years ago .. I really dont know when this knife came out ?
I've seen it for sale , but I never took much interest after Customs kicked back my S&W knife .. Early liner lock !
Knife looks to be running on nylon (?) bushes / washers .. Blade screw is a T10 ..
And this one looks to be un used .. So far all I have done is tighten the blade screw ..
It's not a flipper if you tension the knife to be slop free . It's thumb opening with a button lock .
Looks to be a factory edge & it's ho hum as I have received it .
Hmmm , the button lock seems to be quite a unique design ! I'll have to try and research that !
When I get some more rope , ill put the M4-K thru it's paces !

There was a brief time over a decade ago that somebody put out some cool Colt branded knives. There were a couple that I still wish I had purchased even if they weren't the most premium items they seemed solid and of good quality.

Wow !!! Lets get right to it ... 400 slice fail ..
For 440 that's good , especially for what looks to be a decade old factory edge .
???? Some body - did something right ! ( edge retention ) .

The M4-K is even a little bushcrafty !
I scraped some gumtree and managed to ferro it ..
No it wasn't easy .. It neither scraped easy and threw ferro all over the place . But it got there ! ( For what thats worth )
Slicing wood .. Better than average .. It was very nice as it held depth , cut into curves and didn't dive deep .
It was a nice wood slicer .. Overall a very nice knife for $40 Australian .
400 slices for $40 = 10c a slice ...
