Any one has experience with this knife? Is this a good knife? Thanks.

I've only seen the scales described as being made of zytel and not G10.

I've got more than one CRKT. I've given the Pointguard the once over twice and I would look elsewhere to be honest.

I've had one for years, and it has proven to be a serviceable dependable knife. For 20 dollars it's hard to go wrong with that one.

they are "ok" they arent G10 though they are FRN or zytel.

i have had a couple thru the yrs and they werent too bad lol.

for $20 its pretty good i guess,

I have had a few of them years ago... They proved to be crap... Which is why i went through two of them.... One of the few knives that i could squeeze and have the liner lock release on me... Junk..... One of my favorite CRKT designs... but on that particular model and a few others.... the built quality is crap.... along with the steel.......
My favorites were
-Kasper folders
-Marzitelli Prowler version
-Apache series
-S-2 series
-M1 was great too....
Good luck
Matt

My Dad carries one but he's getting a Sodbuster Jr. for FD. I'll see which knife ends up in his pocket!
