I have read allot about them on here and have been looking forward to buying one. I found a few sites that have them listed, but wonder if they are really in stock yet. Does anyone actually have one yet?? Thanks Jason

I remember when the original custom version was the cover story knife for Blade mag. Beautiful knife. At the Blade Show this year I got to hold a CRKT prototype. It's a good-looking knife, and very comfortable in my hand. A bit pricier than the usual CRKTs. I bet it's a winner.

I got a look at it in BLADE magazine
(December 2002); it seems to be the usual CRKT quality. Can't say I've seen it around though.

AET ;)

Thanks guys, But I am already dead set on buying one, I am just trying to find out if anyone else has yet. Like I said, I see them for sale on a few sites and am waiting to find out if they are in-stock via an e-mail reply. So in the mean time, I was curious if anyone else had one right now. Thanks:)

I have a special order in with edgedweapon.com. They inform me that I can expect it sometime this month but still not here, been over a month since I ordered. I wonder if it is a case of "Big Trouble in Little China?"

I figured that all of these sites had them listed and they aren't really in stock. One site had them up for sale last month. I am really looking forward to getting one, but when I hit that "submit order" button, I like having my stuff in a week or less :)

Im pretty anxious too, I really wonder how the fit is cuz it looks pretty good to me. totally would like a chance to examin the lock.

I was also told the end of the month they would be in stock. There is one thing that I think may be a little better with the CRKT than the custom. The opening slot on the custom prototype was very narrow. It was a little difficult getting enough of your thumb in it to open. The CRKT looks like it made the slot wider.BTW did you see the price on the custom in the other thread? It seems like a lot for an aluminium handle and an ats34 blade.
