Just returned from a gun show
Of course the usual dealers with all the Frost junk where there selling them at $5.00-$7.00

Saw a few Microtechs, and the Chinese copy of the LCC-DA at $15.00.

I purchased a large non serrated M-18 with blue G-10 inserts as I wanted a little color.

The knife opens smooth and locks up rock solid. The blade is sharp right out of the box. The Lawks lock is a nice edition to the knife and is a great feature. Fit and finish are as expected from CRKT. The handle is well made and the finish is even. The pocket clip is high on the back side and allows the knife to rest deep in the pocket. factory tension on the blade is perfect and it opens with just light flip using the Carson Flipper.

The satin finish of the blade is nice and even.

The grind on the blade is off a little at about 60/40 but it's not the first CRKT I've had like that.

For a Whopping $49.50 out the door I can't complain.

The M-18 is one of my favorite Columbia River knives. I am glad they went with AUS-8 on this one instead of AUS-6.

You made a good choice. The M-18 is a really well-executed design. I have the smaller version in the plain edge, blue G-10 inserts. I agree. For the price it's amazing. I'd like to see CRKT use AUS-8 as the basic steel on their knives.
