Hey Sak, I have yet to catch one that I could take home. This monster is actually the second sturgeon I have caught. After living in Oregon for close to 30 years last year was the first time I had a chance to fish the Columbia. You really need a boat and since I have never owned one I just had to wait till I got asked by someone that had one. It also helps to go with someone that knows where the holes are. Steve is my chyropractor and a friend now for several years. I'm sure he could make a good living just being a quide. He's a salmon I caught last year.......

Man Ray that's a huge fish!!! I can only imagine how much fun it would've been to work that thing up to the boat. You are a real fisherman! That salmon's no wimp either.

You guys should see the fish in inland rivers...half a dozen would hardly fill a frying pan. Not that you'd want to eat them, there's so much fertilizer and pesticide runoff in the rivers the fish must glow in the dark...

HEll Yeah Ray!! Nice catch I do miss that about Oregon. I lived right off of a river in Portland. I think it was the Wilameth SP? I have a nice Sturgeon T shirt to remember the Columbia gorge by
