Hi guys. Ive been a member for a while but havent posted. I am now in need of some info i cant seem to find. "Columbia (in shield)"tang stamp. My research states Columbia Knife Co, or Columbia Cut. Co. 1898 to 1905, Austrian? Imported? Thats all i can find. There was a remake in 1978 in a gunstock pattern with a simular shield i have seen but again there is no information on maker of that as well. Any info would greatly be appreciated.
