Hi all.
I took a Columbus Day weekend trip to the Adirondack high peaks region. we had great weather and the scenery was breathtaking, so i wanted to share. i don't normally post here, so i hope this is the correct forum to do so.

Details:
Friday, we hiked into a campsite around Gill Brook to set up a base camp. Saturday, we went up Nippletop. Sunday, we went up Indian Head, down to Fish Hawk Cliffs and then up Colvin. We ate dinner, waited for the moon to come up, and then went back up Indian Head to sit and watch the stars. Monday, we hiked back out.

I haven't done anything like this for a long time. And, i was in no shape to go. But i couldn't have had a better time. Breathtaking scenery and we had gorgeous weather.
