Hey, I'm goign tob e there next week and I was curious on if there are any good knife shops, and things to do in the area?

Also, are there any decent tourist traps, and 24 hour greasyspoons along the way there? I'm taking I 80 to 74 down to 70 and across.

That and how much is it to go to Ceader Point?

i live about 30 miles west of columbus and theres a good place to eat here where i live and from what i hear the broasted chicken is killer. i can ask some friends who are from columbus where to eat at if you want. as for knife shops, i'm sure someone else will post where they are located at.

Hook up with one of the greasy spoons that sells Cinncinati Chilli like Skyline or others. It's totally different from real chilli con carne or that garbarge known as Tex-Mex. They've got Skyline's all over Columbus and they serve regular faire as well. Grab a Five-Way special for me if you would. :)

You're about 130 miles from these guys in Sandusky (Cedar Point):

(And the Top Thrill Dragster is damn well worth the drive! )

Head west about 70 miles to Dayton......this place is free to the public - as are all US Military museums - and has many one-of-a-kind exhibits (Like the last living XB-70 Valkyrie), an iMax theatre, and tons of flying things!!!:

She's located sort of on the southwest of Wright-Patterson AFB. I have read others state that the National Air and Space Museum doesn't hold a candle to what you can see (and touch) here for free. (It's supported by the taxpayers and public donations) There have been additional (huge) hangers built to house the Valkyrie and others that were outside last time I was there. Check for information on hours and special events on their web site - National Air Force Museum

Thanks guys! I also located a magic store in the area too. This is gonna be fun, (if I can finally get all of my wife's crap loaded in the truck)

Darrel Ralph's shop is in the area. If you're interested in visiting his shop, you might want to give him a call.

Depending on when you are going DDR might not be there. I am guessing that he will be at Blade at the end of this week.

What a week.

Instead of really getting out and about in the town.

I took my wife to the Emergency room!

We are thinking issues with the Gaulbladder or the Apendix (or my bad spelling) but she got pissed when we were there for 7 and a half hours waiting for the doctor. We popped the iv and left. I still don't know what is wrong with her, but at least if we go to the hosipital here we will wait an hour at the most.

Also where I stayed at had a really spotty T Mobil connection on there so not only was it expensive, I really couldn't get to most sites.

Neat town though, I'll definatly have to run back sometime.

I am really sorry to hear about your wife!! I hope you get her to the doctor when you get home.

Taking care of family is priority one, you can always visit later. Look on the bright side, you already did the planning.

Hope she's ok man.

Lotta good places in town to toss groceries down your throat.

Cuban, sushi, steaks, burgers, indian, greek, chinese, you name it, it's here.

My waistline it testimony to that....;)

Cool, I'll look into it the next time we go out there.

Liz is doing fine, we are still boggled on what caused it though, or really what it was too.

Great place, kind of wish that I stuck around to see some of my friends perform that monday at some bar. Bindilstif family Cirkus

Also funny note, we were bored so we went through the yellow pages and found an impressive selection of strippers, stripclubs, escorts and dominatrixes.
