i have a 2005 commander, and the backspacer is flaking away, for the lack of a better term. when i scrape it with my fingernail, a powdery substance comes off, and you can kinda see the fabric showing through. it also seems slightly softer than the g-10 liners. what are the backspacers made from and is this normal. i've never had any solvents come in contact with my knife, so i don't understand why it's deteriorating. any ideas? thanks
Contact EKI. My rear spacer is soft too but it's intact.
