Comapanies that sharpen?

Why would you want them too?

I’m not that good at sharpening knives. But I can do a better job than the factory’s can. If I can then anyone can.

In fact I’d be afraid to let them sharpen one of my knifes. They will use a belt grinder, they aren’t going to take the time to do it right.

If you need to learn how. Just ask. Lots of people here will be willing to help you.

Glad to hear Benchmade.

I have an elementum s35v a para 2 s45v and my delica vg10 and a para 3 s110 v. I want these steels to have the best edges they can, I know I can't do that right now with my big 5 stones and this leather belt gorilla glued to a shipping box.

I paid a lot of money for these knives I want them to be in the best condition they can and I want to get my moneys worth. I trust spyderco to sharpen my blurple para 3 over me anyday.

I am practicing with my cheap junk drawer knives but until my exp is there I'm not risking my blades.

Thank you guys for responses so far, much appreciate it!

Nesmuk Manufaktur
service 26 euros per knife, plus all shipping forth and back on the Nesmuk knife owner's dime

the service was FREE before until erh it wasn't. starting this year. prolly due to pandemix.

Get a set of good diamond hones and an angle guide. That's all you need to sharpen freehand any steel (with a little practice).

Yea, I'm definitely gonna get on that.
Even though I know I probably have wrong grit/stones ,oil, technique, and know how, I still find trying to sharpen to be very calming.

I did find this place in downtown LA that said they sharpen 10 bucks per knife with 2 day turnaround. So I can practice on my blades that I couldn't get sharpened before.

Now I'm not afraid to dull my let's say civivi or my boker knowing that if ican't sharpen it I'm not out that knife, and I can practice with d2 and s35v steel.

Hard to tell with a kershaw if I suck or not but, with a decent steel I know it's all on me.

Scared and excited! Can't wait to get a decent set up and be at the point I can trust myself to sharpen my knives well!
