Here is another "Special Project" I`ve been working on, a set of knives I call the Combat and Companion. My plan is to make a piggyback sheath for these. This set is mine, but I am considering a limited run of 10, with a price of $285.00 + $10 shipping. They can also be ordered separately (non numbered) Combat will be $250.00, and Companion will be $65.00

Here are the specs:

Combat

10 1/2" overall
5 3/4" blade
1/4" thick O1 steel (I do very, very, few knives in 1/4" stock)
Right side chisel grind, with a secondary edge

Companion

4 3/8" overall
2" blade
1/8" thick O1 steel
Right side chisel grind, with a secondary edge

These can be ordered in chisel grind, saber grind, or full heigth grind

John this may be the One or Two I have been needing:D Great combination, I really like these!

When do you plan to make them? Any chance of getting the smaller blade in a scandi grind?

Deliveries will start in April, and doing the small one in a scandi grind is no problem. If you are interested in a set, send me an email, with how you want them, and handle material choice.

Those are really nice John. What's the odds of you having some leftover 1/4" stock. I've got a chopper in mind:)

Man that is a hell of a set up John! I been away for a few days and look what I missed. You got me checking my empty bank account looking for money lol

Great photos - love the Kimber too!!

I had something in mind similar to this - a large, heavy duty knife.

The little piggyback sheath is cool too - so are the orange scales.

best

Connie bought me the Kimber back in 1998, that gun has never jammed, best .45 I`ve ever owned, and I`ve owned most of them.
