thanks manix, it was fun to make, think im going to make a few of these, next one will be a 10-11" blade version.
 
That's a beaut, Matt. Great utilitarian design, looks like it could handle just about any task
 
Another absolutely killer knife design and execution by Matt.

Other guys may make them fancier, but nobody makes them better Matt Lamey.

why thanks Peter, that made my afternoon!! ive been out of the shop nursing a few injuries lately but hope to be kicking it up and out now!

I hear that! If I were going into harm's way, I'd be proud to carry this one. What's the steel?
 
That looks like one mean, mean fighting machine to me. I wouldn't want to be on the pointy end of that for anything. Good work! :)
 
Awesome knife Matt, i really like your knives and the grind on this one is nice. That knife would make any soldier proud to own.
Someday i'm going to own one of your knives.

There is something about making simple, effective blades that I know well end up being used that I really enjoy. Thanks again for the kind words.
