Hey BF,

PLEASE SCROLL TO POST 16.

This is an MPX from my first line of knives. I have powder coated it flat black and put black G10 handles which are attached with screws.

OAL is 11 1/4, cut from 3/16 stock with a 5 1/4 inch cutting edge.

Let me know if you have any questions. It was shipped straight to Iraq, to be worn and used by a US Government Operative who is stationed with military intelligence.

Thanks for looking,
John

John that is a great looking blade man, but I am sure the ones your making me are even nicer;) Now hurry and finish them!!:D

I don't think it can get any better, that's pure design and craftsmanship leads to a solid usable working knife.

The only thing I wonder and this could be an option for a second tac design is a full or half guard needed or applicable for tactical users?

Thanks fellas, the kind words are appreciated.

And John, Tony is correct, it is 1095 Pro Hardened, triple tempered, and cryoed at Peters HT in Meadville, PA to a Guaranteed and tested Rc 58-59.

Hey SpearZ,

I understand what your saying. This is my general purpose line of knives, I just gave an "MPX" a tacitcal/combat look. I do have some knives designed as combat/fighters coming up. I should have a couple out as soon as I work through some of my MP orders...thanks for the observation!

John

Wow, that coating looks great too. I bet he will be very happy with that knife, looks awesome.

I cant wait to get some of John's stuff. The black coating takes the MPX in a whole different direction.

Really, really fantastic!

Thanks again guys.

Jeromy, no problem... just get it back to me. I can coat it for you. I have "wrinkle" black as well.

John, great job on the first time coating. I love the G-10. If you had coated my MPM, I wouldn't get to enjoy watching the blade take on character with use!

The MPX in action. Worn and used by a US Gov't. employee who works in the intelligence area.
