Combat Karambit Re-profile

I bought a Combat Karambit and on the first day I dropped it and a bit of the tip broke off. It's still going to serve it's purpose but kind of a bummer.
What I am wondering is if any of you Emerson folk have had their Karambit re-profiled from the chisel grind to something a bit tougher and if so, what did you do?

Changing the actual grind on the kerambit would not be a good idea. If you don't want to try and put a point back on it your self, you could send it off to someone like Tom Kerin or Richard J and have the point ground back on it. That would be the best option IMO as there really isn't much room to change anything.

Had a local sharpener fix the tip up good as new. Stuck with the Chisel grind.
Thanks for the advice.

lol. Happened to me also!
These tips are way too fragile. I didnt even drop mine, just hit the tip slightly on zipper of my sleeve (jacket).
It was easy to put a tip back on it though. it's a little shorter, but at least just as functional.
