If you had to choose the Combat Khukuri or the Bushwacker, which one do you want (only one:D)?

At first when I saw the Bushwacker I thought ya, awesome!

But, after seeing the :eek:Combat Khukuri it went to a whole new level of awesome!:thumbup::thumbup:

Bushwacker without a doubt. It has more uses. However, if you are just looking to chop and can carry the extra weight, then the Khukuri.

They are very different knives. And the production KZ may well differ from the extant protoypes.

HOG answer: You need BOTH.

Bushwacker all the way. Not even close IMO. It's seriously the best looking mistress ever.

I still like the aesthetics of the BM-E a bit better, but the bushwhacker is one sexy mistress.

Im quite torn. I like the straight blade of the BWM "look-wise" better. Its puuurrtyyy.... but i mean a khukuri is built to chop based on shape and weight distribution. Anyone who's held the KZ knows...
We all know we buy these big straight edges camping knives for pretty much one purpose: eating up wood. So for camping, if you're not gonna bring an axe, the Khuk maks more sense...

the BWM seems the winner in light weight though...

I still gotta go with the KZ...if ye be tree, ye better flee...:D

I'm dead set on getting a KZ. Biggest Busse chopper ever! (Non-sword normal production.)

However, the BWM could end up being one of the least expensive Battle Mistresses ever produced, with it's 3/16" blade. If they go for $350 or less I just might have to get one...

...

Or, mmm, nawww, I'd rather save the money for a second KZ. I want to have one in the kitchen and one to cut cars in half.

I have the KZ, a NMFBM, a FBM and two 3/16 Retributions by Jerry Hossum which will be similar in weight to the Bushwacker....cannot post pics of the KZ but here are the others...

These size of knives are all a bit too long to go on your belt if you are tabbing long distances...they get in the way regardless of weight and flap around if running...so tend to go on or in your Bergan...and on that basis you might as well have the one which does the job the quickest when you use it...

Cannot go into detail though but thinning down the blade profile on the KZ makes it well able to beat all the above:eek:

You just need to hit the gym a bit to work up the arm strenth to use it all day:D But that's probably true of any of them...it is'nt just the knife weight that tires you but the continual swinging takes it's toll regardless...although the weight is noticeably a part if you want the performance on chopping wood...there is no substitute for heavy weight chopping performance:thumbup:

The BWM is just so NICE, it hurts every time when I look at the pic...
BWM for me.

Yes, I think it's beauty has me won over as well....there's always room for another Mistress....especially such a pretty one:)
