Combat Knife

This one is headed overseas soon. 5 1/2" long, 1/4" thick A2 blade, nickel silver guard and black linen micarta handle. It has a black leather sheath, I have to get serious about working with Kydex! Anyone have thoughts for me on design, workmanship or materials? Thanks for looking.

Looks very nice! Love the blade shape. About the only change in materials I would make is switch from N/S to stainless for the guard. I am assuming it is forged from looking at the design, how was it under the hammer?

Thanks for the comments. I agree about the SS instead of NS, didn't have any on hand at the time. It is not forged, but obviously the style is influenced by some great forged blades.

I like it but would have you put more ergonomics to the handle if I was to purchase it- but that is a small concern- if I sasw it in person for the right price I would not complain!

Looks pretty good. I'm not sure what I think of the guard. I would have to get a better look at it.
